北陶には代表の飯田雪鋒を筆頭に、北村鶴代、飯田倫久と 石川県を代表する陶芸作家らが所属しており 各々が一人の作家として自らの〔作品〕の創作を行っています。

しかしながら、「○○焼」といった所謂地域の伝統的窯元とは異なり 工房銘での〔定番商品〕の生産・販売は行っていません。それは〔作家〕としての個人的な創作の追求とは異なり 様々な依頼主からの要望や相談を受けてそれをカタチにする 一人の〔陶工〕でありたいという信念を持ち合わせているからです。

我々北陶は決まり切った手法や縛りのない独自系窯元であり また、所属する全員が作家でもあるがゆえに 様々な制作技法や表現手法のノウハウを持っていますので 陶器制作物に関するあらゆるご要望にお応えできます。欲しい「モノ」のイメージがない場合でも、打ち合わせの中で徐々に そのイメージを明確していきますので、まずは欲しい「モノ」に対する お客様の「想い」をお聞かせ下さい。
プロとしての見地から様々なアドバイスをさせて頂くと同時に 内容によっては新しいアイデアやデザインをご提案させて頂きます。

一点モノから少数ロットでの制作対応を得意としていますので ご予算も含めお気軽にご相談下さい。

Hokutoh’s affiliated artists include representative potter Seppou Iida, Tsuruyo Kitamura, Michihisa Iida, and distinguished artists from around Ishikawa Prefecture. Each artist produces his or her own original works.

However, unlike traditional pottery studios, Hokutoh does not place a regional brand on its products, and standardized products are neither manufactured nor sold.It is our philosophy that we each aspire to obtain individuality as potters, and so we pursue the creation of our own, unique works. We also aim to give shape to our clients’ requests.

We at Hokutoh produce original pottery with no fixed methods or boundaries. Additionally, because all Hokutoh members are artists, we possess the know-how for a variety of production techniques and methods of expression. As a result, we can respond to all requests regarding ceramic products.

We excel in the production of unique pieces and small quantities, so please feel free to inform us about budget constraints.
